Artist Statement

In a world full of natural wonders and beauty, it’s easy to get lost in it all. I’m one of these people, overwhelmed with so much appreciation for the reality we’ve settled in. The shifting of the seasons, the mysteries of the cosmos, the mathematical laws of nature – these are things we have to accept.

My work encapsulates many of these topics. Working mostly with acrylic paints, I create surreal dreamscapes inspired by nature. Measuring polygons and other delicate forms, I add these to the composition to give them an elevated presence. What I’m left with is my unique expression, which mixes different styles and themes, but in a subtle way to be palatable to the viewer.

Biography

Ralphy Void is a multimedia artist and designer who specializes in acrylics, oils, charcoal, and digital media. His work encompasses a broad spectrum of themes, from fractured landscapes and sacred geometry, to cosmic wonderlands and spiritual connections. Much of his modern influence came from living at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors from 2013-2015, where he studied and worked exclusively for visionary master Alex Grey.

Although first recognized for his drawing abilities, Ralphy didn’t truly discover his passion for painting until 2009 whilst attending South Mountain Community College in Tempe, Arizona. He moved out of state when he was 20 to pursue his passions, eventually living in artist communes in California, Colorado, and New York. Now he currently resides in Tempe, Arizona, where he makes art at his leisure and works to expand his business.
